General Requirements

Applicants must take the National College Entrance Examination (Gaokao).

All courses are taught in English. Applicants should be prepared for an English-language academic environment.

We do not impose gender restrictions or preference for recent vs. past graduates.

Applicants must pass political, ethical, and health assessments in line with ministry of education regulations.

HLTU recognizes bonus points awarded through Hainan’s Gaokao system.

Admission is open only to applicants from Hainan Province in 2025.

Recruitment and Enrollment Policy

HLTU’s 2025 undergraduate enrollment plan includes four majors:

Hospitality Management

MICE Economy and Management

Tourism Management and Service Education

Culinary and Nutrition Education

All admissions follow the “Score Priority, Respect for Choices” system set by Hainan’s education bureau. Students are admitted based on Gaokao scores, program preferences, and merit. Applicants who do not meet their preferred program may be reallocated based on score and availability if they opt in for program adjustment.

Enrollment Policy and Information

Admissions must be completed through official procedures with verified documents and within the designated registration period.

Late registration without approved deferral results in automatic forfeiture of admission.

Physical condition requirements apply for select programs. Applicants with visible or speech-related conditions should carefully consider majors involving public-facing roles.

No unauthorized parties may collect fees on behalf of HLTU.

Tuition Fees

Investing in your education is a step toward your future. Below is a breakdown of tuition costs and the scholarship opportunities available to support your academic journey.

Tuition (2025): RMB ¥80,000 per academic year

Accommodation: RMB ¥9,600/year for a double room (includes utilities)

Other Costs: Textbooks and materials charged separately
